Onefold: platform consolidation for an acquired risk-data scale-up.

A scale-up in institutional risk data needed to move fast without building an internal engineering team. Over several years, Enigmatix stood up a multi-disciplinary team spanning very different technical requirements — a web-based platform, its APIs, and a mobile app — and acted as the client's engineering function, advising on technical decisions along the way. When the company was acquired, the team worked seamlessly alongside the acquirer's third parties through the transition rather than around them. Post-acquisition, we rebuilt multiple client-facing applications into a single consolidated platform. The result: development accelerated for years without in-house engineers, and the product survived an acquisition intact — the hardest test an outsourced build faces.
