- Content had to be easy to author and update, or the platform would go stale within a term.

- Built the learner experience with Wagtail for lessons, media and assessments.
- Backed it with Wagtail to store courses, submissions and results.
- Modelled enrolment, progress and grading so each learner has a clear path.
- Gave instructors authoring and review tooling.
- Made authoring and updating content a non-technical task.

- Instructors author and grade without juggling email and spreadsheets.
